Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data DZS Games handles when you visit dzsgames.com or write to us, why, and what your rights are. It follows Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13.709/2018) and, for visitors in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Each game has its own privacy policy, linked from the game’s page. This policy covers only the website.

Who is responsible

DZS Games is operated by Daniel Zanelato Souza, in Brazil, who is the controller of the data described here and also acts as the data protection officer (encarregado).

What we collect and why

When you visit the site. The site is hosted on Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site against abuse, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. Legal basis: legitimate interest in running a secure website (LGPD art. 7, IX; GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).

Audience statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It uses no cookies, does not fingerprint your device and does not build profiles about you. We only see aggregated numbers.

When you write to us. If you send an email, or use the contact form (which opens your own email app), we receive your name, email address and the content of your message. We use them only to answer you and keep a record of the conversation. Legal basis: legitimate interest in answering requests, or steps prior to a contract when you contact us about one (LGPD art. 7, V and IX; GDPR art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).

Videos. Trailers are embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode and only load after you press play. From then on, Google’s privacy policy applies to that video.

Links to other sites. Links to stores, Discord and social networks take you to services with their own privacy policies.

We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

Cookies and local storage

The site does not set tracking or advertising cookies. It stores your theme choice (light or dark) in your browser’s local storage so the site remembers it. That information never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

Who processes data for us

• Cloudflare, Inc.: hosting, security, audience statistics and email routing.
• The studio’s email provider: hosts the inbox that messages sent to @dzsgames.com addresses are forwarded to.

These providers act on our instructions and are bound by data protection terms.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside Brazil and outside the European Economic Area. When that happens, the transfer relies on the safeguards those providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses (LGPD art. 33; GDPR art. 46).

How long we keep data

• Messages: for as long as needed to handle your request, and then for up to 2 years for our records, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
• Technical logs: for the periods defined by Cloudflare.

Your rights

Under the LGPD (art. 18) you can ask us to confirm whether we process your data, access it, correct it, anonymize, block or delete unnecessary data, move it to another provider, know who we share it with, and revoke consent. Under the GDPR you also have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection.

To use any of these rights, write to contato@dzsgames.com. We answer within 15 days, or within one month for requests under the GDPR.

You may also complain to Brazil’s data protection authority (ANPD) or to the supervisory authority where you live in the European Union.

Children

The website is for a general audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use providers with strong security practices, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and keep access to messages limited to the studio.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version, and important changes will be announced on the site.
